What is an Event Designer?

An event designer is a professional fairy godmother that transforms your space from cinder to sparkles! We understand that planning an event can be stressful and the last thing you want to think about coordinating your vision board with the right vendors. Even with an event planner, making sure the special touches are handled in the right way is the job of the event designer.

Think of it like the left and right side of your brain. Your event planner handles all of the logistics and technical sides of your event while your event designer caters to the aesthetics and what makes guests go “WOW!”

An event designer’s main responsibilities include:

  • Coordination of design vendors such as florists, equipment rentals, lighting, fabrications, and stationery.

  • Management of event design budget

  • Creation of vision boards and floorplans

  • Onsite management of vendors

  • Execution of event design on the day of of your event

While we love a good party, we also understand the importance of home. With our interior design services, we strive to bring the same creative energy into your living space. Need cozy and inviting great room for entertaining? CHECK! A formal statement room to house those special bottles of Merlot? DONE! A perfectly balanced husband and wife cave? VOILA! Just like your event, each room will be tailored to your own unique style and coordinated efficiently so you can just relax!


Design consultation: Looking at inspiration on Pinterest versus incorporating it into your room are two completely different tasks. When we arrive, it is about walking the current layout of your home, understanding what exiting furniture and accents are staying, and identifying the direct buys needed to complete the new look.

Schematics and Budgeting: Now that we know what you want, it is time to see if it is realistic! We take everything we learned during the consultation and apply in two ways: through a detailed sketch of the new layout and a breakdown of what the new items will cost. This is usually our time to connect on what is important vs a luxury as well as what pillow makes your heart jump.

Installation and staging: Once the final design is approved, this is when the real work begins! We will coordinate the necessary vendors (painters, flooring, electricity, movers, etc) to install your vision into your home. We will be present throughout the process to ensure all the final details are fluffed, painted, and stored to the theme we curated.
